Cut and slop

I started by penciling the shape, which I wanted to kind of match the SG body shape (after removing a couple of tuners and covering).  Then I used my hand held jigsaw.  Then spray paint, clear coat, smooth/sand the excess, and reassemble.

This was my first real build.  It was all made from parts on ebay and a couple of other sites.  My finish job on the headstock is horrible.  I missed some spots spraying and sanding the excess after the clear coat didn't help make it look any better.  I am having playability problems with the neck and truss rod, so I just colored what I could with marker and called it quits.  I am thinking I am going to be replacing the neck soon anyway.
